Welcome to Tarrant County College (TCC) for the 2026–2027 academic year. As a former TCC student, I know firsthand the difference this College can make in shaping your future. I am pleased that you have chosen to continue your education with us and take this important step toward achieving your goals.

The Student Handbook is one of the most valuable tools available to you. It provides information about the many opportunities designed to support your learning and overall college experience. Inside, you will find details about our learning labs, tutoring services, counseling, student clubs and organizations, campus activities, career and transfer advising, financial aid and scholarships, and additional services that support your academic and personal success.

At TCC we are dedicated to a culture of success—one built on responsibility, accountability, and collaboration, creating a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and excellence. At the same time, your role as a learner is essential. Commitment, curiosity, and resilience are key components of your success. Learning is a shared partnership, and together we can create the conditions in which you can thrive.

As we begin a new academic year, I encourage you to approach your studies with confidence, determination, and a clear vision of the future you want to build. We are honored to walk alongside you as you pursue your goals, and we look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

I wish you a successful and rewarding year as we Trailblaze together.

Welcome to TCC,
Elva LeBlanc, Ph.D.
